Albright Capital is a global investment firm adept at identifying and capitalizing upon themes and opportunities, predominately in the emerging markets.
Our disciplined value orientation dictates a flexible mandate by geography, sector and place in the capital structure. Given the limited supply of compelling deals across EMs at any given time, narrower mandates can magnify the volatility of outcomes, by encouraging deployment in sub-optimal investments.
We are necessarily generalists but have significant expertise in infrastructure, infrastructure services, and real assets, and target "middle market" commitments of $25 to $50 million, usually building from a small initial investment and increasing over time. We have invested over $100 million in compelling situations.
Fully engaged post-investment, we provide strategic advice and operational guidance to our portfolio companies. We also provide differentiated value addition, utilizing our global networks and perspective to tangibly support cross-border expansion plans, and help manage relationships with host governments.
Our approach is distinguished by effective integration of global and local assessments and a willingness to be thoughtfully contrarian. For instance, we go beyond orthodox assumptions of political risk at the sovereign level, emphasizing instead a more specific assessment at the project or company level.
